Privacy Policy

How Vsnera Technologies collects, uses, and protects your personal data in compliance with the DPDP Act 2023.

Who We Are

Vsnera Technologies is a software services company registered in India, headquartered in Hyderabad. We build and deliver custom digital solutions for businesses across various industries.

What Data We Collect and Why

We collect the following personal and business data when you register and use our Client Portal:

We do not collect sensitive personal data (such as Aadhaar, PAN, or financial account details) through the Portal. Payment processing is handled by our payment gateway partner.

Data Storage Location

Your data is stored on servers located in the AWS Asia Pacific (Mumbai) region (ap-south-1), within India. File attachments and documents are stored in AWS S3 in the same region. We do not routinely transfer your data outside India. Where any cross-border transfer is required (e.g., for email delivery infrastructure), it is subject to appropriate safeguards.

Retention Periods

  • Account data: Retained for the duration of your contract with VSNERA, plus 7 years thereafter as required by Indian tax and accounting law (Income Tax Act 1961, GST Act 2017).
  • Financial records (invoices, payment references): 7 years minimum.
  • Account deletion requests: Data deletion is processed within 90 days of account closure, subject to the legal retention requirements above.
  • Consent records: Retained for the full retention period as evidence of lawful processing.

Your Rights

Under the DPDP Act 2023 (India):

  • Right to access your personal data held by us
  • Right to correction of inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Right to erasure (subject to legal retention obligations)
  • Right to grievance redressal (see Section 9)
  • Right to nominate a person to exercise your rights on your behalf

Additionally, for users in the EU (GDPR):

  • Right to data portability (receive your data in a machine-readable format)
  • Right to object to processing
  • Right to restriction of processing
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority

To exercise any of these rights, contact our Grievance Officer at support@vsnera.com with the subject line matching your request (e.g., “Data Access Request”, “Data Deletion Request”).

Cookies

We use strictly necessary session cookies to maintain your authenticated session in the Portal. No tracking or advertising cookies are used within the Client Portal. For full details, see our Cookie Policy.

Third-Party Service Providers

We share your data only with third-party processors who are contractually bound to process it solely on our instructions:

  • Amazon Web Services (AWS) — Cloud hosting and file storage (ap-south-1, India)
  • Zoho Mail / Zoho SMTP — Transactional email delivery (verification emails, notifications)
  • Razorpay — Payment gateway for invoice payments (Razorpay Software Pvt. Ltd., Bangalore, India)

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party for marketing purposes.

Grievance Redressal

In accordance with the DPDP Act 2023, we have appointed a Grievance Officer to address data-related concerns:

We are committed to responding to all grievances within 30 days of receipt. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may escalate the matter to the Data Protection Board of India once it is constituted under the DPDP Act 2023.

Changes to This Policy

This Policy is effective from June 2025 (Version 1.0). We will notify you by email at least 30 days before making any material changes to this Policy. Your continued use of the Portal after the effective date of a revised Policy constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
